about the method

creative healing is my integrative & multidimensional healing method.

It is a transformational, holistic trauma-healing framework developed for the deep, creatively-led soul.

we use a fluid and integrated methodology that combines the primary modalities of art therapy, psychotherapy, somatic therapy, energy healing, intuitive work, behavioural mindset work, and creative coaching. I am professionally trained and certified in various disciplines, and I have used my expertise across the board to create an intuitively-led space for you that holds you to the work of trauma healing on all levels: mentally, emotionally, physically, energetically, and spiritually.

this is the method that leads my high-touchpoint containers.

there is nothing out there like Creative Healing.

how do I know that?

because I have developed and channeled this methodology straight from my own soul and heart. it combines the practices, frameworks, and wisdom that I learned from my own healing journey, with my expertise as an art therapist, healer, and coach.

 

my intention is to provide a safe but vast space for your healing and embodiment to happen on multiple levels, in the way that your soul calls for - so that you have agency and freedom in the way you are able to discover, release, and heal.

I believe that when you have true agency over your own journey, with someone you trust to hold you and provide you with the guidance, tools, and space to do the work, the healing and transformation you allow for is profound. powerful. wildly beyond what you thought was possible.

your healing should be led by your life-force, potential, and imagination - also known as your creativity.

and I'm not gonna lie, this kind of work isn't usually easy. but it is fucking beautiful and profound to rediscover your soul and essence, and that is something I believe everyone deserves to experience.

a couple things to know ...

1.

 

creative healing is about your UNBECOMING.

in the self-development, there is a lot of talk around the notion of 'becoming'. becoming the person you desire to be, becoming someone powerful, strong, or resilient.

the intention there is great and all, but it's not exactly accurate. we are each born whole, powerful, full of love, light, and pure life-force energy. we are each born into this lifetime with a totally unique blueprint, DNA, with a soul that has deep history and wisdom. there is no need to become anything greater than what we born with.

I believe that true, soul-led transformation is actually the unbecoming of all of the stories, narratives, trauma, wounds, experiences that have made us believe that we were anything but whole, powerful, and unique.

in the process of unbecoming, we rediscover.

and when we rediscover, we find the inner strength to set ourselves free. that's healing.

2.

creative healing is not linear.

 

healing should be intuitively-led. 

I believe that when it is soul-level healing that you are seeking, the process requires much more than talk therapy, or even art therapy singularly.

 

these therapies are so important, don't get me wrong (I do practice as a therapist, after all!) - but what I have realized through my work with clients and also from my own personal healing journey, is that these traditional therapies largely work on a cognitive and physical plane - and that's limited. 

 

for some people, this actually isn't enough space for the work to actually flow.

 

an essential part of healing is about learning to trust your journey. in order to fully, whole-heartedly trust, you must feel safe in your body, you must be friends with your subconscious mind, and you must understand your energy and connect with your soul.

this sacred space here, is where you finally get to do all of that.

the methodology of Creative Healing is founded on a three-pronged framework.

as we first come into trauma healing or self-development in general, we may often find ourselves resonating with one of these pillars more and therefore focusing our energy and efforts in a specific modality. the most common disciplines out there at the moment are talk therapies and mindset coaching.

but frankly - who said that you had to limit your growth to one dimension?

therapy, coaching, inner healing - is most effective when it is integrative.

when we do the work across these levels, you will find that these modalities and practices all weave into one another, allowing you to deepen and expand in an eye-opening way.

Trauma healing via three dimensions.

somatic.

somatic therapies have now proven to be the most effective and important modality in the practice of trauma healing. trauma is stored in the cells of our bodies, and in order for us to heal trauma, we must release and move it out of the body by completing the trauma cycle.

modalities include:

+ body-based art-making

+ process-oriented art-making

+ somatic practices

+ somatic meditation

+ embodied movement

+ nervous system regulation

+ stretching

+ grounding

energetic.

the energetic pillar of Creative Healing encompasses emotional healing as well - after all, emotions are energy in motion. we will explore a diversity of energy healing modalities and intuitive work and flow with what lands with your soul and body the best

it is our limiting beliefs, doubts, fear - working subconsciously - that have conditioned us to believe that we are anything but whole. in order to actually integrate the shifts in your body, energy, and soul, it is crucial that we do the dialoguing, rewiring and reprogramming all in tandem.

I know that's a lot, and might even sound overwhelming.

but each modality listed is there for an important reason.

everyone's needs, preferences, and callings are different. I've developed this sacred work and methodology to be intuitively-led and co-created by us together. across these 3 pillars, you'll get to create your own journey, while I have the expertise and wisdom to guide you through this exploration.

we encourage you to resource your healing from within yourself.

the breadth and depth of creative healing, is how you learn what lands best in your body and for your soul, which modalities spark something particularly deep, and how you come to trust your own inner guidance as you flow through the rest of your life.

with that said,

there is a structure to how and why the method works.

1. discover.

using a combination of art therapy, talk therapies, and the Akashic Records, we discover and identify the origins, events, and root causes of your trauma. we unravel the systems, parts, programming, and stories that have shaped the beliefs, fears, and challenges in your life.

2. release.

we integrate somatics and nervous system work with energy healing, to clear out the trauma imprint and waste energy in your cells. we bring safety into your body, and make space for you to feel into the light and power of your essence.

3. heal.

this step is where modalities across the somatic, energetic, and mental must be practiced in tandem - but where your process will also be unique, depending on your preferences, the location of your trauma, and what you're looking to call into your life.

this is where you really get to connect with your soul, energy, and creativity.

4. rewire.

rewiring is largely within the 'mental' pillar, and we work a lot on reprogramming your subconscious narratives. through a mix of art and talk therapies, mindfulness & meditation, subconscious reprogramming, and mindset coaching - we integrate your discoveries into your day-to-day, so that you can live a life that is soulful, expressive and inspired.

5. embody.

 

your mind-body must learn to trust your soul.

in Creative Healing we also emphasize the importance of energetic alignment. we will use processes such as embodiment practices, visualization, active imagination, meditation, and channeled energetic upgrades to lock your soul's energy into your reality.

when you heal your vessel, you become a clear channel for what is truly yours.

you are freer, your energy is higher, life is brighter, passion is stronger, things flow easier, and ideas are expansive.


that, is what it means to live a creative life.

like I said, there's nothing else like it.

what is trauma?

trauma is your emotional and physiological response to an event that evokes more than 3 emotions - usually causing you to feel unsafe or threatened in some way. your amygdala senses danger and sends a signal to your sympathetic nervous system, which releases stress hormones and activates into survival mode to protect you.

it is my belief that 99% of people on this planet have experienced some level of trauma. with that said, there is a difference between micro-trauma and macro-trauma, also known as small 't' trauma and big 'T' Trauma. 

unfortunately, there has been little research up until 10-15 years ago around the significance of trauma on our physical and mental health.

why is it important to heal trauma?

trauma is not processed by our brain and body like a usual event or memory is. the neurological and physiological imprints are fragmented, holding those stress chemicals, and remain in the cells of the body until they are somatically released.

most of us are not taught about the trauma cycle and how to release. so, this emotional trauma builds up over the years - and the body may go into distress of some level, manifesting with chronic physical and mental diseases.

healing trauma is essentially the process of releasing those fragments stuck inside. moving it out of you and dissolving the emotional charge you have to the memory of the event.

what if I'm not creative?

alright - my answer is going to be loaded.

you ARE creative. we are all innately creative. your teacher, parent, guardian, social media - whoever and whatever made you believe that you aren't - was wrong about that.

creativity is just life-force energy that flows through us. if you don't believe that you're creative, then you're going to be blocking your flow naturally - which reinforces that belief and well, you're not going to be creating and expanding as you should be. trauma can also siphon creative flow.

you do not need to be an artist or poet to be creative. you just have to be human.

how is this different from art therapy?

while art therapy encompasses different approaches within it (e.g. psychoanalytic, Jungian, psychodynamic, process-oriented) - I consider art therapy to be a single modality.

creative healing integrates art therapy as one component of its method.

art therapy is wonderful for cultivating self-expression and healing trauma in a gentle, non-confrontational way. it is a beautiful mode of therapy to explore if you connect with the language of creativity but are not fully open to exploring other modalities at this time.

what is 'soul work'?

soul work is where we meet, connect and dialogue with the essence of your soul.

 

I would describe your soul as the infinite essence of your being - it is the immaterial part of you that has evolved and transcended through lifetimes and dimensions, and has chosen your life here today in this incarnation. I see my soul as my true self, where I feel true belonging and home.

now, you may have a different interpretation of the soul - and that's totally okay! and if you have not connected with your soul yet - this all might sound very foreign and woo-woo, and there is NEVER any pressure.

 

but know that soul-level work is truly what changed my life, frankly. not therapy, but discovering the soul. that's where the unbecoming happens.

what is energy work?

energy work is a field of practice where we tap into your sacred energy field for a purpose, only ever for your highest good and highest guidance.

we are made of particles, cells, that attract and create form and structure - which is energy. so as much as we are a physical, solid being, we are also energetic beings. we are made of a magnetic field that not only consists of our physical body and our soul, but our thoughts and ideas, and the space around us.

I work with high-frequency energy to tap into your field, and clear out negative energies holding you down.

I am certified to provide Akashic Readings and 9D Energy Healing to you.

is there a spiritual component?

in short - yes.

 

it is spiritual in the sense that it will ask you to be open to what you cannot see, the immaterial, we will be working in the higher dimensions, and the work will ask you to put down your ego.

you absolutely do not need to 'be spiritual' or 'have a spiritual practice' to benefit from creative healing.

but because the soul-level work is really at the core here, it is important that you are open-minded and open-hearted to it.
