what we do here.
the purpose of the open studio group is for individuals to find some strength, perspective, and connection for themselves at the beginning of the week.
we cover broader topics such as gratitude, self-empowerment, and self-reflection in various ways.
with every session, i introduce the invitation, guide you through around 45 minutes of a creative flow, and then open up the floor for a bit of conversation. there is no pressure to share, but it can be a wonderful opportunity for people to connect.
if you have to leave early or arrive late - all good, just please let me know in advance.
why?
-
it is a low-pressure & low-commitment way to explore art therapy;
-
so that you carve out creativity time for yourself on a regular basis;
-
reflection and regroup time as well;
-
to keep your creative juices flowing;
-
an opportunity to meet new people (around the world) in a safe and supportive environment;
-
it's one of the most affordable professionally-run art therapy groups out there!
what to bring.
basic art supplies (e.g. paper, pen/pencil), and any other materials that you feel is fitting for the week's invitation.
to join.
the group is capped at 5 people.
an email reminder is sent to the participants a day prior, and another with a Zoom link about 1 hour before the session begins.
if you have signed up and are no longer able to make it, please cancel on the app or directly inform me at jade@yourpiece.art at least 24 hours prior if you'd like to reschedule your spot for another week.
